Vilmate is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Middle QA Engineer to join our team.

About the Role & Project
As a Middle QA Engineer at Vilmate, you won’t be boxed into just one product. You will have the opportunity to bring your expertise to a variety of dynamic projects, mastering diverse domains and working closely with international clients. We are looking for someone who doesn’t just “find bugs” but actively advocates for product quality.
Your Key Responsibilities
Test Management: Plan, estimate, and execute comprehensive testing activities for both web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.
Documentation: Create, maintain, and upgrade QA artifacts (test cases, checklists, and test plans).
End-to-End Testing: Perform functional, non-functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
Lifecycle Ownership: Report, track, and verify defects, ensuring the loop is fully closed on every bug.
Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with developers, PMs, and clients to ensure high-quality delivery at every stage of the SDLC.
Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements early in the cycle, spot edge cases, and suggest improvements before code is even written.
What We Are Looking For
3+ years of experience in manual testing for both web and mobile applications.
Strong QA Fundamentals: Solid understanding of software testing types, techniques, and SDLC/STLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
Technical Savvy: Good understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and REST APIs (using Postman or similar tools).
Debugging Skills: Confident use of browser Developer Tools and basic SQL skills for data validation.
Tooling: Hands-on experience with bug-tracking and test management platforms (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
Test Documentation: Strong knowledge of test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports).
Communication: Upper-Intermediate English (both written and spoken) for smooth collaboration with international stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience mentoring Junior QA engineers or reviewing team documentation.
