Spendbase is a fintech SaaS helping companies take control of their business spending — SaaS subscriptions, Cloud costs, and corporate payments, all in one place. With over 200 people in the team, we’re continuing to scale globally and we are building a product that finance and IT teams love.
We’re looking for a Senior Sales (Outbound focussed) to own the Banking vertical end-to-end — building pipeline, closing deals with financial institutions, and shaping how Spendbase enters this market.
You’ll work directly with head of departments, colleagues and senior stakeholders on the client side, run the full sales cycle, and have real influence on how the Banking segment grows.
What you’ll do:
Own the full sales cycle within Banking and Financial Services: Discovery → call / demo → close deal
Build pipeline from scratch — identify and approach banks, neo-banks, and financial institutions within the defined ICP
Run discovery to understand clients spend challenges, tooling and buying processes
Deliver tailored product demos to senior stakeholders (CFO, IT, Procurement, FinOps)
Negotiate and close commercial terms with complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
Help to build repeatable sales processes and playbooks for the Banking segment
Track pipeline health, deal progress, and revenue performance in CRM
Collaborate with product and leadership on ICP refinement and messaging based on field feedback
What we’re looking for:
4+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 2 years selling into Banking or Financial Services
Proven track record of owning full-cycle deals and building outbound pipeline independently
Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and procurement processes
Understanding of SaaS spend management, Cloud cost optimization, or fintech procurement is a strong advantage
Proactive approach — you build your pipeline, you don’t wait for it to come
Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-level and senior decision-makers
C1/C2 English is a must
Nice to have:
Existing network within banking or fintech
Different language knowledge
Experience to develop training sessions to other colleagues & pitching skills
Experience with spend management or procurement platforms
Early-stage startup or 0-to-1 sales experience
Sales navigator skills
Proactive attitude — ideas are always welcome
