What is the project, and why should you care?
Symphony Solutions is a Cloud and AI-driven IT company headquartered in the Netherlands. We are a premier software provider of custom iGaming, Healthcare, and Airline solutions. Devoted to delivering the highest quality of service, we offer our expertise in full-cycle software development, cloud engineering, data and analytics, AI services, digital marketing orchestration, and more. We’re looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to work as a strategic partner to business leaders. This is not a support role — you’ll sit at the leadership table, influence organisational decisions, and drive people strategy that directly impacts business outcomes. You’ll bring a commercial mindset, a track record of navigating complex people challenges, and the confidence to challenge and advise senior stakeholders.
You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:
Must-have:
6+ years in HR, with at least 3 years in a true HRBP role (not HR generalist or PP)
Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and operating at a strategic level
Strong background in organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management
Experience navigating complex, multi-geography employment environments
Confident working with ambiguity and driving decisions without a full playbook
Analytically strong — comfortable building a business case and presenting data to leadership
Fluent in English; Ukrainian is a strong advantage
Great to have:
Experience in tech or software services organisations
Familiarity with AI-augmented HR tools and workflows
Microsoft 365 ecosystem exposure (Copilot, Power Automate, SharePoint)
GDPR and EU AI Act knowledge
Change management certification or formal methodology experience
AI literacy & ways of working
At Symphony Solutions, AI is not a future ambition — it’s how we work today. Our Senior HRBP is expected to be a confident and curious user of AI tools, not just aware of them.
You’ll be expected to:
Use AI tools (including Claude) as a daily productivity layer — drafting, summarising, analysing, ideating
Collaborate on the design and rollout of AI-powered HR workflows, including automated survey pipelines, virtual HR agents, and intelligent onboarding tools
Evaluate AI outputs critically — knowing when to trust, when to edit, and when to escalate
Maintain awareness of ethical and legal considerations around AI in HR: bias, data privacy, GDPR, and EU AI Act obligations
Contribute to internal AI adoption — modelling good practice and helping managers and employees build confidence with AI tools
Stay current with developments in AI relevant to HR — not as a technical expert, but as an informed practitioner
Minimum bar:
Comfortable using AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or equivalent) in daily work
Understands the difference between automation (rule-based) and AI agents (autonomous, adaptive)
Has experimented with prompt-based workflows or AI-assisted processes in an HR context
Strong plus:
Hands-on experience building or configuring AI-powered tools (Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or similar)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 AI ecosystem
Has contributed to an internal AI rollout, community, or education initiative
Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating business priorities into people strategy across multiple geographies
Lead organisational design conversations — restructuring, workforce planning, spans and layers
Drive talent strategy: succession planning, critical role identification, and leadership pipeline development
Own complex employee relations cases — including senior-level situations, cross-border issues, and cases with legal or reputational implications
Partner with the business on change management — restructu
