The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst who blends strategic product thinking with rigorous analytical depth. You should care deeply about business impact, not just documentation.
This is a full-time role for 3 months, and then it would be more like a part-time engagement.
About the Client
Our client is building an enterprise-scale home care management ecosystem designed to support business owners, their staff (carers), and the families of residents. They are on a mission to replace current fragmented software with a unified, scalable platform - aiming to support 50,000+ users - and to develop a portfolio of strategic software products that give them a competitive edge in the home care market.
Your Mission
You’ll drive the Discovery phase and shape the product vision throughout development for a complex, multi-interface ecosystem (Web Provider Platform, Carer App, Family App, and Super Admin System).
You'll need to:
Audit and Map: Map current workflows against desired target states and identify overlaps, gaps, and inefficiencies in the current home care software landscape.
Gather Insights: Act as the face of the project, conducting interviews with frontline staff, management, and operational teams to uncover real user needs.
Define Vision and Roadmap: Own the project roadmap, decomposing high-level business goals into manageable functional areas, user stories, and actionable requirements.
Drive Implementation: Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure the technical execution remains aligned with the vision, particularly regarding automation (e.g., finance portal submissions, AI-driven assessment transcription) and healthcare-specific standards. Work with a development team and ensure the implementation happends according to defined and approved requirements.
Research and Benchmark: Understand the underlying logic of complex modules—such as Scheduling & Rota, Care Planning, Compliance & Audit, and Finance—to ensure the platform meets CQC standards and scales effectively.
Who We’re Looking For
A Business Analyst who thinks in outcomes, not just outputs, and has a deep understanding of process rigor.
Someone who can translate complex business goals into clear, developer-ready requirements while maintaining an audit trail of changes.
A strong communicator who can collaborate across diverse stakeholders (operational heads, care excellence leads) and bridge the gap to the technical execution team.
C1+ English proficiency (written and spoken).
