StellarsTech is looking for a QA Engineer to join and strengthen our team working on a US-based FinTech product.
The product is a payment platform that integrates with multiple payment providers and processes merchant transactions. The project is in an active development stage, and the first users have already started onboarding.
Important: working hours
As the product is growing, the client is moving toward 24/7 support coverage. The new position is being opened to increase the team’s overlap with US working hours.
Therefore, availability to work an evening shift until 1:00 AM Kyiv time is required for this role.
Additionally, availability to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday), with corresponding days off during the week, would be highly preferable, as the support model may gradually expand to include weekend coverage as well.
What you’ll do
Perform manual testing of web applications and APIs;
Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and other QA documentation;
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing;
Test integrations with payment providers and other third-party services;
Analyze requirements and identify potential issues early in the development process;
Report, investigate, and track defects;
Collaborate closely with developers, product stakeholders, and another QA Engineer;
Participate in improving QA processes as the product and team grow;
Use AI tools to make testing and day-to-day QA work more efficient;
Gradually contribute to test automation and help increase automated test coverage.
What we’re looking for
3+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA;
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes;
Experience testing web applications and REST APIs;
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman;
Good understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP, databases, and SQL;
Experience with integration testing and third-party services;
Ability to work independently, investigate issues, and take ownership of QA tasks;
Practical experience using AI tools in QA or day-to-day work;
Interest in test automation and willingness to develop in this direction;
Previous hands-on experience with automation testing would be a strong advantage;
Upper-Intermediate English or higher for communication with the US-based client and team.
