Blocksport is a white-label digital experience platform for sports clubs. We rebrand one core platform for each client. The product covers ticketing, payments, content, predictions, chat, wallet, streaming, SSO and sports data integrations. The R&D team is small, so every engineer has a visible impact on the product.
The role You’ll work alongside our QA Lead and take over much of the regression and release testing. It’s a hands-on role with room to grow into more responsibility, API testing and automation.
What you’ll do — Test iOS and Android builds of our React Native app across several club-branded versions. — Test the web CDP and admin tools, including content, push notifications and per-club settings. — Run regression and release checks from existing test cases, and help write new ones. — Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots and screen recordings. — Verify fixes and help run smoke tests after releases. Submit bug tickets to JIRA with reproduction steps, screenshots/screen recordings. — Grow into API testing with Postman and basic data checks with SQL.
What we’re looking for — 6+ months of commercial QA experience, or strong project experience, with mobile apps. — Understanding of testing fundamentals: test cases, checklists, regression, bug severity and priority. — Experience installing and testing builds through TestFlight or similar tools. — Attention to detail and clear written communication. — Regular use of Claude for generating test cases, analysing logs or drafting bug reports, and the willingness to get advanced with it. — English at a level that lets you read specs and write bug reports.
Nice to have — Basic API testing (Postman) and basic SQL. — Any exposure to test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Detox). — Anthropic certifications. — Interest in sports.
