We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our technology team and support business-critical database platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high-availability environments, improving database reliability, and ensuring stable performance of key systems. You will work with modern Oracle database technologies, Linux-based infrastructure, backup and recovery processes, monitoring tools, and high-availability solutions. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the stability, resilience, and continuous improvement of enterprise-level database services. You will be part of a professional engineering environment where database reliability, automation, performance, and operational excellence are highly valued. The role provides hands-on exposure to mission-critical systems, opportunities to improve backup and recovery strategies, and the ability to work with technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, etc.
Your future responsibilities:
Install, configure, patch, and maintain Oracle 19c databases on Linux platforms
Manage backup and recovery policies using RMAN and ensure database high availability through Oracle Data Guard
Monitor database health and performance, optimize SQL queries, and manage storage using Oracle ASM
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (one week per month)
Your skills and experience:
Oracle Database: hands-on experience administering Oracle 19c databases
High Availability & Disaster Recovery: proven experience with RMAN (backup and recovery) and Oracle Data Guard (configuration and administration)
Operating Systems: strong proficiency in Linux, including command-line operations and shell scripting
Nice to have:
Experience with storage management using Oracle ASM
Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Experience designing and implementing database backup and recovery strategies
Familiarity with database monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Prometheus
