About the role
We’re looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
You’ll work closely with developers, project managers, and other team members throughout the development process, from analyzing requirements and preparing tests to investigating issues and verifying fixes.
We’re looking for someone who takes responsibility for the quality of their work, can make informed decisions, and doesn’t wait for every next step to be assigned.
What you’ll do
Analyze requirements, identify gaps, and clarify expected behavior with the team.
Design, prepare, and execute test cases based on requirements and user scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
Identify, investigate, document, and track defects.
Verify bug fixes and check for potential regressions.
Identify edge cases and potential risks before they become bigger problems.
Collaborate with developers and other team members to investigate issues and find solutions.
Communicate testing progress, blockers, and risks clearly.
Follow up on identified issues and ensure they are properly addressed.
What we’re looking for
Commercial experience in software testing.
A solid understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and the software development lifecycle.
Experience creating and executing test cases and documenting defects.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to investigate unexpected behavior.
A strong sense of ownership: you take responsibility for the quality of your work, follow issues through to resolution, and don’t consider a task complete simply because the assigned checks have passed.
Independence and initiative: you can identify what needs attention, ask the right questions, and take action without waiting for detailed instructions at every step.
The ability to assess risks, prioritize work, and explain the reasoning behind your decisions.
Clear communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
