We are looking for a Middle/Middle+ Manual QA Engineer to strengthen the UAT team on a project in the consumer lending domain.
The client is currently reworking its lending platform and Loan Management System, covering the full customer journey from loan origination to repayment and debt collection. The project is now at the rework, release, and data migration stage.
⚠️ Please note before applying: this is a short-term engagement, and hands-on experience with B2C lending / credit products / collections is a must-have. General Manual QA experience or experience only with payments/fintech without lending or collections domain knowledge will not be sufficient for this role.
Must-have requirements
3+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA;
hands-on experience with B2C lending, credit products and/or debt collection;
practical understanding of end-to-end lending flows: loan origination/disbursement, repayment schedules, interest and fees, payment allocation, delinquency, restructuring, loan closure and/or collections;
experience in fintech or banking;
experience with UAT / acceptance testing;
experience with a Loan Management System or comparable financial platform (credit core, loan servicing, billing, collections);
experience testing web and mobile applications;
Jira and TestRail;
English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher for daily communication with the international team and client.
Nice to have
experience with financial system migration/rebuild and data migration validation;
working knowledge of TypeScript + Playwright;
practical experience using AI tools for test automation, preferably Claude Code.
What you’ll do
support the client’s UAT team during acceptance testing;
analyze requirements and prepare test cases for complex lending and collections flows;
execute functional, regression, mobile and end-to-end testing;
validate loan disbursement, repayment schedules, interest and fee calculations, payment allocation, delinquency, restructuring, loan closure and collection scenarios;
verify amounts, statuses, customer communications and transitions between stages;
maintain test documentation in TestRail and defects/tasks in Jira;
participate in requirements discussions, grooming sessions and retrospectives;
use AI tools to support test analysis, test data preparation and automation activities.

preferred scenario: approximately 1 month starting now, with a potential additional 3-month engagement closer to December;
