Do you enjoy digging into data, spotting patterns in markets, and turning research into something actionable? This role is built for someone who wants to learn how product development works from the inside — and grow into it.
Argo Brands is a US-based company operating four consumer brands. We sell across Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Target, Kohl’s and etc. Our R&D team is responsible for the full product lifecycle: concept, research, sourcing, development, and launch.
We’re adding a junior person to the R&D team. If you have relevant experience, great. If you’re earlier in your career and bring the right mindset, we’re equally interested. We invest in people who are serious about learning.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Research Amazon and other platforms to identify new product opportunities, trending categories, and market gaps.
Analyze product performance metrics, customer reviews, pricing strategies, and demand signals.
Track industry developments and flag relevant innovation trends.
Build structured research reports and product briefs from scratch.
Prepare regular competitor reports covering product launches, pricing changes, packaging updates, and marketing activity.
Monitor competitor assortment and positioning over time.
Identify competitive threats and highlight opportunities for differentiation.
Search for and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers in the US and internationally.
Collect and compare supplier data: capabilities, certifications, pricing, MOQs, and lead times.
Support initial outreach and qualification of new vendors.
Use AI tools and research platforms to speed up market analysis, product discovery, and data collection.
Help document and improve internal research workflows and reporting standards.
Contribute ideas for automating repetitive research tasks.
Who We’re Looking For: The right person for this role is analytical, organized, and genuinely curious. You don’t need to have done this job before — but you do need to be the kind of person who goes deep on things.
Analytical mindset — you’re comfortable working with data and can spot meaningful patterns.
Strong research skills — you know how to find information, validate it, and present it clearly.
Attention to detail — this work involves a lot of structured tracking and comparison.
Solid written English — you’ll be writing reports and communicating findings regularly.
Self-starter — comfortable figuring things out independently and taking ownership of your work.
Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
Proactive and eager to learn — you ask questions, follow through, and improve over time.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
Experience working with Amazon — seller, analyst, agency side, or any hands-on capacity.
Familiarity with any e-commerce platform (Walmart, Shopify, TikTok Shop, or similar).
Experience with product research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar.
Any background in sourcing, supply chain, or vendor communication.
You’ve done structured research projects — academic, freelance, or on your own.
What We Offer:
Full training — you’ll learn how product development and market research actually work at a growing e-commerce company
Direct mentorship from the R&D Product Manager with real responsibility from day one
Remote, full-time role — Monday through Friday with flexible hours
Competitive compensation with room to grow as you develop in the role
A small, direct team where your work is visible and your input matters
Hands-on experience with the US market — one of the most competitive e-commerce environments in the world
