We're looking for a Customer Success Engineer to join our team and support one of our US-based clients.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on customer data migrations, technical problem-solving, and ongoing customer support. You'll work closely with the backend engineering team and directly with customers to migrate their data, investigate technical issues, and implement reliable solutions.
We're looking for an experienced backend engineer who combines strong Python/Django and data skills with curiosity, ownership, attention to detail, and confident customer communication.

Own customer data migrations from initial investigation through successful completion.
Analyze, transform, validate, and migrate data from different customer systems and data sources.
Build and maintain Python/Django scripts and tools supporting migration workflows.
Work with relational and NoSQL data, different data structures, and file formats.
Investigate customer-reported technical issues, identify root causes, and drive them through to resolution.
Handle customer-specific backend changes, integrations, and bug fixes.
Work with REST APIs and third-party systems during migrations and troubleshooting.
Communicate directly with customers to clarify technical requirements, investigate issues, and coordinate solutions.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers and other cross-functional team members.
Improve migration processes and tooling to make recurring customer onboarding more reliable and scalable.

👌 Role Requirements
4+ years of professional backend development experience with Python and Django.
Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including complex queries, data structures, and database migrations.
Practical experience with data migrations, data transformation, and migration scripts.
Experience working with different data sources, data formats, and database models, including relational and NoSQL data.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and experience with third-party integrations.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate unfamiliar code, data, and system behavior and identify root causes.
Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, and Bash in day-to-day development.
Experience using AI-powered development tools, particularly Claude Code or similar coding agents, as part of the development workflow.
Ability to communicate directly with customers, clarify technical problems, and explain solutions clearly.
Strong ownership, attention to detail, and persistence in bringing technical issues through to resolution.
Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher, including confident spoken communication.
Nice to have
Experience with customer data migrations between complex B2B/SaaS platforms.
Experience building or improving internal migration tooling and automation.
Experience working in a B2B SaaS product environment.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment workflows.
Experience working with Azure and cloud-based applications.
Experience troubleshooting customer-specific integrations and data issues in production.
Experience with CRM platforms.

Employment Type: Full-Time.
This is a fully remote position with the team distributed across Ukraine.
