We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join Alterra Group and lead the company’s finance function.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Financial management & reporting
Oversee monthly financial reporting across the Group, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, as well as consolidation.
Ensure the quality and efficiency of accounting processes and financial controls.
Analyze management and financial reporting to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
Prepare financial and liquidity analysis for shareholders and project co-investors.
Budgeting & liquidity management
Lead budgeting and financial planning across business units and projects.
Manage Group liquidity and ensure efficient allocation of financial resources.
Manage excess liquidity through deposits and treasury instruments.
Provide plan-vs-actual analysis and monitor project financial performance.
Investments & financing
Perform financial evaluation of new development and investment projects.
Build and review financial, budget and investment models.
Assess operational, financial and investment risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Evaluate project financing opportunities.
Lead negotiations with investors and commercial banks.
Transformation & automation
Drive automation of reporting, financial analysis and business processes.
Participate in the development of the company’s finance-related IT infrastructure.
Implement and improve BI/BA tools for financial data visualization and decision-making.
Leadership & business partnership
Build and develop a strong Finance and Accounting team.
Partner with the CEO and business leaders on strategic decisions.
Provide financial recommendations supporting business development and long-term growth.
What we’re looking for:
Strong expertise in corporate finance, accounting, financial analysis, working capital management and taxation.
Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial planning, investment analysis and financial modelling.
Proven experience in financial and investment risk management.
Experience implementing finance automation or financial management systems.
Strong understanding of Ukrainian accounting and tax legislation.
Knowledge of international accounting standards and international financial practices.
Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools.
Successful track record of leading financial projects and managing change.
Experience working with investors and financial institutions.
English at B2 level or higher.
Relevant professional certification in finance/accounting would be an advantage.
