It offers support for over 200+ connectors, including popular cloud applications like CRMs, marketing tools, support systems, and management solutions, as well as databases and data warehouses.
Your future team of professionals
You will join a collaborative team focused on creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for Skyvia. The team currently includes TW Lead and 2 Technical Writers.
Your future challenges & opportunities
You will have the opportunity to work with a technically complex B2B SaaS product and directly influence the quality of Skyvia’s documentation and overall user experience. You will dive deep into data integration, data management, and the modern data stack, work with new functionality from development through release, and evolve the documentation alongside the product.
At the same time, the role involves navigating a broad set of product features and technical concepts, independently validating product behavior, and turning complex information into clear and user-friendly documentation. You will also balance release-related documentation work with the continuous improvement of existing content.
Impact you will make
Create, update, and continuously improve Skyvia technical documentation, including product guides, how-to articles, and other user-facing content.
Prepare release notes and documentation for new product features and releases.
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, Product, Development, QA, and other teams to gather and validate technical information.
Review, refactor, and improve existing documentation structure and content.
Proofread and edit content created by internal and external authors.
Create and update UI copy for Skyvia and SkyBackup applications.
Create and maintain website content for Skyvia and SkyBackup.
Prepare content for the Partnership team, Integration Gallery, and Automation Gallery.
Create and edit video content for Skyvia’s YouTube channel and marketplaces.
Participate in technical demos to understand new functionality and prepare accurate documentation.
Contribute to improving documentation standards, structure, and overall user experiencе.
Skills we are looking for
At least 2 years of experience creating technical documentation for software or SaaS products, including user guides, tutorials, how-to articles, release notes, API documentation, UI texts, and other product-related content.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
Ability to understand complex technical functionality and explain it clearly to end users.
Experience working with technical topics such as databases, APIs, integrations, developer tools, and client-server architecture.
Understanding of DBMS, cloud storage, client-server architecture, and SDLC principles.
Basic knowledge of SQL and/or any programming language.
Hands-on experience with Markdown, Git, HTML, and CSS; familiarity with Jade or similar markup/template languages is a plus.
Familiarity with popular technical writing style guides, such as Microsoft, Google, or Apple.
Ability to process large volumes of technical information, identify key concepts, and present them in a clear and structured way.
Experience working with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, or similar software would be a plus.
A portfolio or examples of technical documentation would be an advantage.
