🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and TypeScript to help build and maintain a reliable automated testing ecosystem for complex web applications across multiple brands and environments. The main focus of this role is designing, developing, and improving scalable UI automation, maintaining the testing framework, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the automation process end-to-end — from writing high-quality test suites and debugging failures to optimizing framework architecture and ensuring stable, efficient test execution. A key aspect of this position is the active use of AI-powered development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot) to accelerate test creation, analyze failures, improve code quality, and automate QA workflows. The ideal candidate is comfortable combining engineering expertise with AI-assisted development to increase productivity while maintaining production-quality standards. In this role, you will work closely with developers, manual QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams to improve product quality, increase release confidence, and continuously enhance testing processes within a fast-paced environment. Experience in iGaming and an understanding of domain-specific business logic will be considered a strong advantage. ⚙️ Your Tasks:
— Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications using Playwright. — Write and evolve automated tests in TypeScript + Playwright Test. — Maintain and improve the test framework. — Automate regression, sanity, and healthcheck runs across multiple brands and environments. — Actively use AI tools in daily work: test generation and refactoring, failure analysis, log investigation (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar). — Analyze test failures, localize issues, fill bugs, and communicate with developers and manual QA. — Build CI/CD pipelines for automated tests.
👤 Our Criteria:
— 4–5+ years of commercial experience in QA Automation. — Solid experience in web UI automation with Playwright. — Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript. — Hands-on experience with Playwright Test (fixtures, projects, parallelization, reporters). — Extensive hands-on experience with AI: daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), ability to delegate tasks to AI effectively, and to review and bring AI-generated code up to production quality. — Understanding of Page Object / Component Object patterns. — Experience with Qase or similar test management systems. — Experience with Docker: running tests in containers, basic understanding of Dockerfile / docker compose. — Experience with Git and CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI. — API testing experience: REST, JSON, status codes, headers, and schema validation (Zod / JSON Schema). — Ability to analyze logs and network requests, work with Chrome DevTools (trace viewer, HAR). — Ability to independently investigate complex problems and see tasks through to completion. — Experience building AI-agent workflows for QA: auto-generating tests from test cases, AI-driven analysis of failed runs, integrating AI into CI pipelines.
Nice to have:
— Experience in iGaming / gambling / betting / casino / sportsbook projects. — Understanding of domain logic: bets, bonuses, wagering, balances, game sessions, payments. — Experience with WebSocket. — Experience integrating automated tests with BrowserStack.
