We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who treats AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools as a core part of the daily workflow, not just an optional add-on. You will design, build, and maintain automated Web and API tests, while leveraging tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Kiro to accelerate test development, refactor legacy test suites, and investigate complex failures.
What you will do:
— Build and evolve end-to-end, integration, and API test coverage across our products.
— Work side-by-side with AI coding assistants like Claude Code (or similar tools) to create tests faster, improve existing frameworks, investigate failures, and reduce repetitive work.
— Help keep our CI/CD pipelines reliable by making tests fast, stable, and genuinely useful for developers.
— Dig into flaky tests and production issues, using AI tools to analyze logs, traces, and errors to quickly uncover root causes.
— Create meaningful test scenarios, including edge cases and “what could go wrong” situations that help us ship with confidence.
— Partner closely with engineers to improve testability, observability, and overall product quality from the start.
— Review and improve both human-written and AI-generated test code.
— Shape how we approach quality engineering — deciding what should be automated, what’s better tested manually, and where performance, security, or visual testing adds the most value.
AI & coding tools (required):
— Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Kiro, or similar tools as part of your daily workflow.
— Strong prompting skills for code generation, test generation, debugging, and investigation — you understand how to guide AI tools effectively and recognize when outputs need correction.
— A practical understanding of the limitations of LLM-based tools, including hallucinations, incorrect assumptions, etc.
Engineering & QA:
— 3+ years of experience in test automation using modern QA tooling and practices.
— Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
— Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium.
— Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, Bruno, or similar platforms, plus the ability to build API tests directly in code.
— Comfortable working with Git-based development workflows.
— Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
— Familiarity with Docker, Linux environments, and troubleshooting through logs and traces.
— Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and GraphQL.
