The project. A UK startup founded by experienced founders with successful startups behind them, now closing its funding round. Their AI agents interview a company's employees about how they work, map the organisation's processes, and then build and run agents that automate them. That includes the infrastructure, integrations with Slack and Teams, and dashboards showing hours saved and the return on AI.
The team. It's small and very advanced in AI-driven development (about 100 PRs a week with agents). It has a senior CTO and a fast junior engineer, and needs a strong senior engineer in between.
What you'll do. This is a hands-on role, not management. You'll own the quality of the LLM product (evals, prompts, conversation quality, guardrails), improve the AI dev process, and design parts of the system (RAG, memory, agent security).
Must-haves:
You've shipped production LLM products, ideally conversational or agentic
Hands-on experience with evals
Strong system design for LLM systems
Fluent in agentic development
Good English
