Ukrainian Sales Manager — NGO & Humanitarian Partnerships
Location: Ukraine (any region) · Full-time · Compensation: competitive, based on experience
About Thor’s Haven
Thor’s Haven builds mobile, modular trailers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces — medical stabilisation points, command post units, a mobile clinic, and Casevac modules. We’re based in Lviv with production, logistics and compliance work spanning Ukraine, Estonia, Denmark, and we’re backed by Bifrost Defence, a Danish venture studio and close investor partner.
We’re growing our base of NGO, foundation and institutional partners across Ukraine and Europe. Today, most of our NGO relationship-building, outreach and closing runs through one person — this role exists to build real capacity alongside them.
Why this role exists
Growing and diversifying our portfolio of NGO, foundation and institutional partners — across Ukraine and Europe — is one of the company’s stated priorities for the year ahead. This role is the person who makes that happen: finding, qualifying and closing new NGO and foundation relationships that fund units for medics and combat brigades.
What you’ll do
• Own the NGO sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting, first meetings, product/site demonstrations, quoting, closing, and after-sale relationship care.
• Actively grow and diversify our NGO buyer base — building relationships with medical-aid NGOs, charitable foundations, and volunteer/veteran organisations across Ukraine, the Netherlands, the UK, the Baltics and elsewhere in Europe.
• Own our sales pipeline and CRM (contacts, opportunities, follow-ups, order status) — keep it accurate and current, and use it to report weekly on pipeline health and closed business.
• Coordinate closely with production and compliance colleagues so what’s sold matches what can actually be built and certified — including staying current on BraveOne codification status for each product.
• Navigate humanitarian-import and charitable-foundation procurement routes (for example, structuring orders through partner foundations) for units and brigades that don’t have direct state or MoD funding.
• Represent Thor’s Haven at relevant events and conferences in Ukraine and Europe to build our NGO and donor network.
• Draft and send English-language proposals, pricing sheets, and donor/NGO correspondence.
What you bring
• Fluent or native-level English, spoken and written — this is the working language with most international NGOs and donors.
• Based in Ukraine (any region), Ukrainian language fluency would be a bonus, and comfortable travelling to meet military units and NGO partners, including in frontline-adjacent regions.
• A track record in sales or business development — defence, medical devices, manufacturing or humanitarian-sector experience is a strong plus, but a relationship-led, consultative sales style matters more than the specific industry.
• Genuine comfort with ambiguity and a small, fast-moving team — you’ll be building pipeline and process, not inheriting a mature funnel.
• Willingness to learn Ukraine’s military and humanitarian procurement landscape — Ministry of Defence channels, unit self-funding, NGO/volunteer funding, and the Brave1 marketplace.
• Personal motivation for the mission: getting stabilisation points, command posts and evacuation equipment to the people who need them.
Nice to have
• An existing network among Ukraine-focused NGOs, foundations, or volunteer and veteran organisations.
• Experience with humanitarian aid or charitable-import processes.
• Experience writing or supporting grant applications (institutional, foundation, or innovation-fund grants).
• Familiarity working inside a CRM (we are rolling out a new sales-and-production system this quarter).
What we offer
• Direct, visible impact — the units you sell go straight to frontline medics and combat brigades.
• A small, founder-led team spanning Ukraine, Estonia, Denmark and Germany.
• Real ownership of the NGO
