We’re looking for an SDR to help Beetroot expand its presence in Defence Tech and Energy Tech while driving a healthy, high-quality sales pipeline across European markets.

As an SDR, you’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing, Head of Beetroot Defence, and Account Executives to generate opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and ensure no valuable lead slips through the cracks. You’ll play a key role both behind the scenes and on the ground—representing Beetroot at industry events, supporting networking initiatives, and maintaining a disciplined approach to pipeline management.

What you’ll do in this role

Defence & Energy Growth

Act as SDR for defence tech opportunities, from prospecting through to handoff to Account Executives.

Serve as business partner and sales hand to the Head of Beetroot Defence — supporting his commercial activity, prepping him for conversations, and following up on the opportunities he surfaces.

Represent Beetroot at Ukrainian miltech events and meetups: building the network and generating conversations on the ground.

Support with coordinating in-house networking events — target lists, pre-booked meetings, and briefing every attendee so they walk in informed.

Support in the EU energy tech roadshow preparation: setting up meetings ahead of every roadshow stop so the team arrives with a full calendar.

Represent Beetroot on-site — working the floor, generating conversations, and being a visible presence throughout.

Own the networking around each event: building the guest list, driving invitations, and securing the right introductions.

Manage leads across the full roadshow — capture, real-time CRM updates, and structured follow-up so nothing goes cold.

Pipeline & SDR Operations

Process inbound leads alongside AEs, helping with leads qualification supporting EU and Nordics sales, and covering for AEs on vacation so deals don’t stall.

Run outbound test campaigns end to end: tooling, management, tracking.

Own CRM hygiene across every channel through to booked meetings.

Re-engage old databases with AEs and clean legacy data into nurturing-ready shape.

Support Beetroot and Beetweb test marketing campaigns from the sales side, and nurture B-quality leads until they’re ready.

We’re looking for

3+ years in an SDR, lead generation, or sales support role, ideally in B2B or tech services.

Comfortable representing the company in person — at events, meetups, and on a trade-show floor — and confident starting conversations with strangers.

Experience running outbound campaigns — building lists, sequencing outreach, and tracking results.

Solid English, written and spoken, for working across EU and Nordics markets.

Organised and self-directed — you can support event preparation, manage follow-ups, and keep multiple workstreams moving without being chased.

Comfortable with in-person client meeting, working hand-in-hand with senior stakeholders (Head of Defence, Head of Marketing, AEs) and adapting to their style.
