About the Team and Role
We’re building the smartest, fastest and most resilient payments infra in fintech — and risk is a core part of how we win. As a Risk Operations Analyst at Solidgate, you’ll be the one keeping our engine clean, sharp and one step ahead. You’ll monitor AML alerts, how money moves, and how risk evolves in real time — making sure we scale safely without slowing down growth.This role is hands-on and impact heavy. You’ll use data, logic and frameworks to detect risk signals, fine-tune alert systems, and liaise directly with partner banks on RFI requests. It’s fast. It’s complex. And if you love owning the signal inside the noise — you’ll thrive here.
What you’ll own — Analyse AML alert signals, detect anomalies, and trigger the right actions or escalations — Monitor compliance with international payment scheme requirements — Control merchant reserves to prevent negative balances and minimise financial exposure — Communicate with partner banks and handle RFI requests — Execute and continuously improve daily operational tasks within approved risk processes
You’re a great fit if you have — Bright mind with a background in econometrics, finance, management, international relations, mathematics, or computer science— or still studying in one of these fields. — Hardworking, communicative, and fast learner — you get things done and pick up new skills on the go. Responsible & detail-oriented — precision matters in rin AML/risk work. — English B2+ — confident communication across teams and partners.
Nice to have — Self-starter — you can own your projects and take full responsibility for your area. — SQL & Tableau — extra points if you know your way around data.
