Freelance Project Manager
We’re looking for a Freelance Project Manager to join NICKSON on a project-based basis and help us organize and manage software development projects.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building processes from scratch, and coordinating teams to deliver projects successfully. You’ll be involved in presales, project planning, team coordination, and establishing our Delivery processes from the ground up.
What will you do?
Presales: Participate in project discussions, organize requirements gathering, and coordinate technical estimations with the team.
Team Management: Coordinate developers, designers, and other specialists, assign tasks, and monitor their progress.
Project Delivery: Plan projects, manage timelines, budgets, scope, and quality of deliverables.
Communication: Work closely with Sales and clients, ensuring a smooth handover from sales to development.
Process Building: Build and standardize project management and Delivery processes from scratch, establishing workflows, documentation, and team practices.
Project Control: Track progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
What do we expect from you?
✔️ At least 3 years experience managing IT or software development projects.
✔️ Understanding of software development processes and project estimation.
✔️ Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
✔️ Ability to work with clients, developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
✔️ Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
✔️ Ability to work independently, take ownership, and build processes from scratch.
✔️ Upper-Intermediate English (B2) or higher.
