We are searching for an experienced Project Manager.
Our team handles mission-critical, multi-app, multi-platform distributed systems, addressing serious threats in the real world around us. This role requires full ownership of outcomes in mission-critical projects that operate in complex and dynamic environments. If you are comfortable taking responsibility in sensitive, socially impactful projects and thrive in environments that demand clarity, judgment, and accountability, this role may be a strong fit for you.
The company puts strong emphasis on maintaining a comfortable and supportive team environment. We expect you to be attentive to team dynamics, appreciate individual strengths, and navigate nuances thoughtfully to foster effective collaboration. The ability to balance delivery goals with a healthy team atmosphere will be very valuable for this role.
What makes you a great match:
The skill of seeing the bigger picture — understanding the team as a system and helping your team members see the interdependencies.
Immaculate communication skills are a must — because mind-reading isn’t part of the job.
Ability to see and maximise value in people, processes, and tools.
A natural inclination to keep everything around you organised, design processes and follow them.
Creativity — new ideas and experiences are vital to achieving great results.
What we expect you to bring to the table:
Proven 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, including 3+ years in large, complex projects.
Expertise in planning, designing, and executing large initiatives.
Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, co-managing them based on project needs, in collaboration with the project’s technical lead.
Experience working with product teams and in a startup environment.
Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Extreme ownership and diligence.
Deep understanding of classic project management methodologies (PMBOK).
Strong skills to communicate effectively and manage conflicts.
Upper-intermediate English, written and spoken.
Availability for business trips to Kyiv and Lviv as required by work.
What will make you stand out?
Technical background (education and/or work experience in software development, engineering, quality assurance, etc).
Understanding of information security, IoT and hardware, systems engineering, infrastructure, etc.
Understanding of how large distributed systems are built or how they work (e.g. the scale of power plant control systems)
Understanding of design and manufacturing processes in automation systems.
Desire to work on extremely innovative projects and minimise chances for chaos ahead of time.
Experience working in a multicultural context.
What will you do with all those skills?
Own the delivery process and ensure it supports project goals and meets constraints. This includes designing the workflow, implementing, and continuously improving it.
Collaborate with technical experts to create realistic development/delivery plans that lead towards project outcomes.
Support R&D initiatives by breaking down the uncertainty and facilitating the process.
Coordinate teams and organise processes for effective cross-team capacity allocation and collaboration.
