Occam Industries is a British-Ukrainian MilTech company building a hardware-agnostic software for next-generation defence capabilities.
We work directly with leading Ukrainian OEMs to bring autonomy to the frontline at scale — turning existing unmanned platforms into autonomous systems. Our technology is already deployed by Ukrainian brigades in combat, helping operators hit targets.

Your mission
We’re looking for a C++ developer to build AI autopilot systems — flight functionality, tactics, and behaviours — working with ArduPilot and Betaflight. This isn’t a role for people who want distance between themselves and the outcome. You’ll work alongside our flight test team, ship code onto physical platforms, test it yourself, and send it to the frontline for immediate combat deployment. Days, not quarters, between a commit and a real-world result. You’ll work closely with our machine learning teams in Europe, translating our AI’s intentions into flight behaviour.
What we’re looking for:
Strong C++ engineering fundamentals
Experience with flight controllers (ArduPilot, Betaflight, or equivalent)
Comfort iterating fast on hardware, in the field, under real constraints
A willingness to get hands dirty — this is not a desk-only job
Bilingual English / Ukrainian is a bonus but not necessary
