NerdySoft is a strategic engineering partner specializing in complex Fintech products. We are looking for a Head of Presales who combines deep technical acumen with executive-level business development skills.
We’ve refined this role based on the profiles of industry leaders who successfully bridge the gap between abstract business needs and high-scale engineering reality. We are not looking for an “outstaffing” salesperson; we are looking for a Solution Leader who can architect a deal as skillfully as a technical team architects a product.
Your Mission
Architect the Solution Journey: Lead the end-to-end presales lifecycle—from the first “spark” of client interest through deep-dive business discovery, technology assessments, and consulting phases, to a signed contract and successful launch.
Build the Presales Center of Excellence (CoE): Define, implement, and drive CoE operations, ensuring the highest standards, best practices, and the best conversion rates within the organization.
Influence the C-Suite: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and navigate complex buying committees within global banks and fintechs to secure sponsorship and long-term partnerships.
Scale the Vertical: Lead the BizDev organization for our technology services, specifically focusing on AI services, Data Engineering, and our Fintech vertical.
Strategic Account Growth: Own and grow a portfolio of existing FSI clients, identifying expansion opportunities and driving revenue growth through proactive account management.
Critical Requirements
Technical “DNA”: You must understand the technical side of the business. You can speak fluently about software delivery, architecture, and the “how” behind AI and Data solutions.
FSI Mastery: A proven track record in Banking, Fintech, and Payments is essential. You should be positioned to act as a strategic partner to financial institutions.
Solution Sales Pedigree: Unlike “seat-selling” or outstaffing, you have experience crafting tailored solutions that meet precise, complex client needs.
Team Mentorship: You have a natural ability to grow, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of Delivery Managers, Sales, and Technical Consultants.
Project Delivery: Experience in Delivery Management or Program Management (at a Director level) to ensure that what is promised in presales is truly deliverable.
Nice to Have
Complex Committee Navigation: Proven experience ensuring sponsorship within multi-layered buying committees in enterprise-level organizations.
