We are looking for a Senior Creative Project Manager to lead our design team and drive every web design project from concept to launch. You will work directly with the Head of Project, our production manager, and a team of designers to ship pages that look exceptional and convert.
This role sits at the intersection of design, marketing, and execution. You are the person who keeps the design pipeline moving, develops the team behind it, and brings fresh creative thinking to everything we put out. The standard is high: stunning websites that perform, shipped fast.
This is a leadership role. You will own the design team’s workload, develop designers including team leads who report into you, and be accountable for both the quality of the output and the speed at which it gets there. The two things we measure above everything else are speed and quality.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Design project leadership
Lead web design projects end to end, from creative brief through launch, holding the line on quality and timeline
Translate marketing and business goals into clear creative direction the design team can execute against
Review work in progress, give sharp design and conversion feedback, and push the team to a higher standard
Own the quality bar for everything that ships under your name
Traffic management for design workload
Act as the central traffic manager for all design requests, briefs, and projects across the operation
Allocate work across designers based on skill, capacity, and priority
Track every active project, surface bottlenecks early, and rebalance the queue when priorities shift
Make sure no brief sits unowned and no project loses momentum waiting on a decision
Team development and upscaling
Manage and develop the design team, including leads who report into you
Run regular reviews, give direct feedback, and build skill development plans for each designer
Hire when needed and raise the bar with every addition
Build a team culture where speed, quality, and craft are non-negotiable
Creative input and conversion thinking
Bring fresh ideas, references, and creative direction into every project. You are not just managing, you are contributing
Hold a strong point of view on what makes a page convert and apply it consistently
Stay current on web design trends, conversion patterns, and what top operators are shipping
Push back on briefs that will not perform, even when they come from above
Process and systems
Build and maintain the systems that keep design moving: brief templates, review cycles, handoff to production, version control
Document workflows so the team can scale without losing consistency
Work closely with the production manager to ensure clean handoffs and no work gets stuck between design and build
Identify where the pipeline is slow and fix it with process, not heroics
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-have:
4+ years in design project management, creative operations, or a similar leadership role at a fast-paced marketing agency or in-house team (exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered)
Strong understanding of design fundamentals and web design specifically. You speak the language, give useful feedback, and tell good work from average
Strong understanding of marketing and conversion. You know what makes a landing page perform, not just look nice
Proven experience leading and developing a design team, not just coordinating one
Demonstrated ability to traffic-manage a high volume of design work across multiple projects without quality slipping
Excellent English, written and verbal (C2)
AI-first operator. You use AI across your daily workflow — ideation, briefing, copy, research, project management, image generation, content production. This is your default mode of working, not an experiment. If you are not already running on AI, this role is not for you
Fast, structured, and decisive. You make calls, give clear direction, and do not need every brief escalate
