About the role
We are looking for a Chief Financial & Legal Officer to lead our Finance, Accounting and Legal functions and take ownership of the financial and legal strategy supporting the company’s growth and international expansion.
At the core of this role is strong CFO-level financial leadership combined with solid Legal expertise. The role covers financial planning and performance, corporate and commercial legal matters, international structures, compliance and risk management, with a strong focus on building scalable processes for the company’s next stage of growth.
What you’ll own
Lead and develop the Finance, Accounting and Legal functions, ensuring clear ownership, strong collaboration and effective processes across all areas
Develop financial models and provide data-driven analysis to support strategic planning, investments and business growth
Drive the consolidation, automation and improvement of financial processes, including ERP implementation and migration
Oversee key corporate and commercial legal matters, including contracts, corporate governance, licensing and regulatory requirements
Identify, assess and manage financial, legal, tax and operational risks
Support strategic initiatives, investments, partnerships and new business opportunities from both financial and legal perspectives
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director or similar finance leader, with direct responsibility for or significant involvement in Legal
Strong expertise in corporate finance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and management reporting
Solid hands-on experience with corporate and commercial legal matters, contracts, international corporate structures and compliance
Strong understanding of tax, audit, financial controls, compliance and risk management
Experience with ERP implementation/migration, financial transformation and process automation
Strong commercial mindset and the ability to assess business opportunities and risks beyond purely financial metrics.
Ability to translate complex financial and legal matters into clear, practical business decisions
Strong leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Nice to have
Experience in iGaming, FinTech, Payments or another regulated international industry
Experience supporting international expansion and establishing operations in new jurisdictions
Experience with M&A, investments, corporate restructuring or complex cross-border projects
