About us MGNY is a New York—based consulting company with a product mindset. We specialize in property tax advisory and affordable housing services, helping developers and property owners navigate complex regulations through a mix of expert knowledge and modern technology.
Since 2008, we’ve been building solutions that actually work. We’re consultants by structure, but product thinkers by nature: analytical, detail-oriented, and focused on creating real value.
All our development is in-house, and our team is growing organically. Today we’re 80+ people, and we continue to grow while keeping what we value most — a strong culture, low turnover, and a genuine sense of belonging.
We’re now looking for a Business Analyst — someone structured, curious, and empathetic, who can help us connect business logic with technology and make our systems even better.
What you’ll do
Set up and maintain structured workflows for the IT department using Jira issue types, boards, automations, and reporting.
Keep the backlog clean and clear: support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ticket lifecycle together with the CTO and the IT team.
Collect input from different stakeholders, align expectations, and translate needs into actionable Jira tasks.
Analyze how we use Salesforce as an ERP/CRM system and help optimize cross-team processes.
Maintain documentation that is clear, short, and useful for both technical and non-technical teammates.
What we expect
3+ years of experience in business or system analysis.
Ability to document workflows and transform them into process improvements.
Strong communication (speaking) skills in English (B2+ or higher).
Experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
A love for structure, clarity, and making complex things simple.
Nice to have
Experience working with Salesforce (custom development, configuration, or process analysis).
Certifications like CBAP or PMI-PBA nice to have but not required.
Why MGNY
