We’re looking for an Accountant who will take ownership of supporting our Polish JDG/B2B contractors and ensure smooth, compliant financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced IT environment, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about building efficient financial processes.
What you’ll do:
Own the end-to-end accounting support for approximately 40 Polish JDG/B2B contractors, ensuring timely payments, accurate documentation, invoices, service acceptance reports, and compliance with Polish legal and tax requirements.
Coordinate with contractors on financial and accounting matters, ensuring all required documentation is collected and processed on time.
Monitor payment schedules, document flow, and compliance with internal processes and statutory deadlines.
Prepare financial reports, analyses, and ad hoc information requested by management.
Support day-to-day financial operations and contribute to improving internal financial processes.
Collaborate with banks, external accounting providers, and financial consultants.
Partner closely with the Legal team to ensure compliance with Polish regulations and stay aligned with legislative changes affecting JDG/B2B contractors.
Identify opportunities to optimize and automate financial workflows.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in accounting, preferably within an IT company or a business working with B2B contractors.
Hands-on experience supporting sole proprietorships (JDG) or B2B contractors.
Strong understanding of the Polish JDG/B2B model, including accounting, taxation, and compliance requirements, will be a strong advantage.
Upper-Intermediate level of English and Polish.
Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience working with financial reporting.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to independently solve problems and improve existing processes.
Nice to have:
Experience working with Polish accounting firms or tax advisors.
Experience supporting international teams and cross-border financial operations.
