FAQ

Common questions about this CV

Should I name my supervisor on the CV?

Yes for EAP and clinic roles. The name and the hour count reads as a quality signal. Without it the CV looks unfinished, even with a strong degree on top.

I just finished postgraduate training with no clinical hours. What do I write?

List case-study hours and role-play sessions from training. Add supervision and intervision groups. EAP networks and telehealth platforms are friendlier to early-career clinicians than private clinics.

Should I list every trauma course separately?

Only accredited ones: EMDRIA, TF-CBT, Somatic Experiencing through the official institute. Generic webinars belong in the cover letter, not the CV body.

How do I show volunteer hours with military or veteran clients?

Make it a separate role: org, dates, clinical hours, modality. NGOs and rehab centers read that signal strongly. Keep confidentiality intact, no names or case detail.

How many weekly clients should I claim?

Whatever is real, paired with clinical hours. 25-30 sessions per week is the burnout ceiling for most clinicians. An inflated number reads as a risk, not a strength.
