An ATS (applicant tracking system) is software recruiters use to scan and filter resumes before a human reads them. If your resume is poorly structured, the ATS can misread it and drop you. A clean single-column layout with standard section headings parses reliably.

In the US a resume is a short one to two page summary tailored to a job, while a CV is a longer academic document. In Ukraine and most of Europe the two words are used interchangeably, and a one-page resume is what employers expect.
Mirror the language of the job description: match the key skills and titles, lead your bullets with relevant results, and drop anything off-topic. Trackr can tailor a separate version of your resume for each vacancy, so you keep one master and many targeted copies.
