FAQ

Common questions about this CV

Do I need formal education in construction?

For general labor roles, no. Foreman and supervisor roles benefit from a vocational diploma or building-code certifications. Tendered projects expect proper qualifications and clearances.

How do I show experience without a formal employer?

List projects, scope, square footage and volumes. Subcontracting is the norm in construction, recruiters understand it. Add 2 or 3 site-supervisor references.

Is it worth going to the EU for construction work?

Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Norway pay 2 to 4 times more than the local market. Basic English or Polish plus ETICS facade or Knauf drywall experience opens fast hires.

How fast can I become a foreman?

Usually 2 to 3 years of solid work plus willingness to own outcomes. Large developers have more structured paths and shorter timelines than independent crews.
