Sine Engineering builds the technology behind reliable drone autonomy — communications, navigation, and control that keep multiple drones coordinated at once. Over 200 UAV manufacturers rely on our systems, and our technology powers most of the interceptor operations active today. Through a dual-use platform, we support civilian innovation while helping democratic nations strengthen their technological edge.
Any drone, any scale, anywhere — resilient communication, navigation, and coordination built for the age of autonomy. Our products have already proven themselves in real combat conditions in Ukraine.
This role combines drone piloting with hands-on technical work: you’ll prepare UAVs for flights, support testing in the lab and in the field, and work closely with engineers to make sure our systems are reliable and ready for real-world use.
What you’ll do
Operate fixed-wing or multirotor UAVs during test flights and demonstrations
Prepare UAVs for flight: setup, configuration checks, and pre-flight inspections
Assemble, configure, and calibrate UAV systems and onboard components (cameras, antennas, telemetry modules, payloads)
Set up and tune flight controllers (ArduPilot, iNav, Betaflight)
Work with communication protocols such as CRSF, MAVLink, SBUS, CAN, and UART at a practical level
Troubleshoot issues in the field, analyse flight logs, and report findings to engineers
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines
What we’re looking for
Experience operating UAVs (fixed-wing or multirotor)
Hands-on experience with at least one platform: ArduPilot, iNav, or Betaflight
Basic understanding of UAV electronics, components, and radio communication
Ability to troubleshoot and do basic repairs
Comfort working in field conditions and a responsible attitude toward safety
English at B1 level or higher
Willingness to travel for testing and operational activities
Nice to have
Experience with both fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs
Background in drone racing, testing, or similar hands-on work
Experience in fast-paced or technically complex environments
What We Offer
Flexible working hours, 24 days of paid annual leave, and unlimited sick leave
Health insurance (broad coverage) after 30 days, plus sports activities
Learning support: external/internal training, English courses, and covered AI tools & software licenses
Military service deferral (reservation) for eligible employees, plus support for veterans and their families
A comfortable, safe workplace — ergonomic setups, on-site bomb shelter, modern equipment, and daily snacks
A human-centric culture built on trust and ownership, where people care about each other and getting things done matters most
