We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect — Mobile to support an Ecommerce project focused on modernizing an existing mobile application and transitioning it to a headless commerce architecture powered by Shopify APIs.
What We Are Looking For
5+ years of experience in mobile application development, architecture, or technical leadership.
Strong hands-on expertise in at least one major mobile technology: Native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Native Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose), React Native (TypeScript), or Flutter (Dart), with working knowledge of a second.
Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture), and best practices.
Experience with Ecommerce mobile applications and integrations with commerce platforms.
Knowledge of headless commerce architecture and API-based integrations.
Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Customer Account API, GraphQL) is a strong plus.
Understanding of mobile accessibility, performance optimization, crash reporting, and application quality standards.
Experience with mobile CI/CD processes, app deployment, and release management for the App Store and Google Play.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development workflows, improve engineering productivity, and support technical solution design.
Ability to assess existing applications and define scalable, maintainable target architectures.
Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, and architecture discussions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
