Core Duties & Accountabilities
Quality Architecture & Strategy: Design, document, and execute an overarching quality vision aligned with product milestones and operational targets. Spearhead early-stage validation (“Shift-left Testing”) to embed quality benchmarks into initial design and architecture phases.
Engineering Alignment & Continuous Improvement: Work side-by-side with developers throughout the lifecycle to evaluate code integrity, testability, and edge cases. Own incident response, bug tracking, and post-mortem root cause analyses to continually refine quality standards across legacy and upcoming features.
Automation & Validation Frameworks: Build, scale, and maintain robust end-to-end and integration automation suites. Construct detailed API test coverage to evaluate backend contract validity, system resilience, and data flow across full-stack applications.
Hands-on involvement in new functionality development and existing functionality maintenance.
Required Background & Competencies
Professional Experience: 5+ years in dedicated software quality engineering, with at least 2 years in a dedicated product-led SaaS environment.
Test Automation (Mandatory): Extensive hands-on track record building end-to-end automation frameworks using web/E2E test tools alongside REST API testing suites.
Experience with: Postman API testing suite, Cypress and Playwright.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Solid exposure to JavaScript and PHP (experience with React and Laravel is highly beneficial).
Delivery & Operations: Knowledge of Git-driven automation pipelines (CI/CD), knowledge of foundational AWS services is a plus.
General Skills: Strong business-level English communication skills and comfortable working aligned with Central European Time (CET).
