The Role
The challenge isn’t writing predictable code; it’s landing in a customer’s environment, reverse-engineering poorly documented third-party APIs, and shipping working integrations end-to-end, solo. You will own the non-conventional, “out-of-the-books” engagements that standard product connectors cannot cover. This role bypasses standard task-list engineering in favor of pure technical ownership over bespoke integration layers.
About the Product
The platform operates as a global cyber security infrastructure deployed across enterprise ecosystems to defend against highly sophisticated threats. The integration layer acts as the critical bridge, connecting core security products with diverse, custom customer-specific security stacks. It solves the real-world problem of fragmented enterprise security environments by forcing disparate systems into a unified, reactive defense mesh.
Technology Stack:The integration environment is anchored in Python for building core connector logic and data pipeline routines. Rather than a rigid framework, the stack is highly adaptive and dictates fluency with diverse, third-party REST APIs and unfamiliar customer architectures. Development is accelerated through production-level integration of modern AI tools like Claude, Copilot, and Cursor to handle rapid research and reverse-engineering tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own custom integration engagements end-to-end, from initial technical scoping and discovery through to final implementation, testing, and production handover
Engineer bespoke integration layers between core security products and custom enterprise security stacks, primarily utilizing Python
Reverse-engineer undocumented or poorly maintained third-party vendor APIs to establish stable, robust data communication channels
Drive technical clarity directly on customer calls alongside PM and CSM teams to distill ambiguous requirements into concrete engineering targets
Translate individual engagement patterns and edge cases into reusable feedback for core product teams to improve baseline connector capabilities
What We Expect
Must-have
5+ years of professional software development experience, with a dedicated 3+ years of hands-on engineering in Python
Documented history of designing, testing, and shipping production-grade integrations against third-party REST APIs
High adaptability to dive into unfamiliar codebases and rapidly adopt new technologies based on engagement demands
Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to drive clear, async-first communication
Practical fluency using AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to speed up code discovery and implementation
Nice-to-have
Prior experience in a customer-facing engineering capacity, including direct requirement gathering
Foundational familiarity with enterprise security architectures (SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence, firewalls)
Professional experience working within or directly alongside a Security Operations Center (SOC)
Why This Role Is Worth Your Time
You are tackling highly non-trivial integration puzzles that cannot be solved by standard out-of-the-box software, ensuring low repetition and high technical autonomy
Direct line of sight to global enterprise impact, building critical defense linkages for an industry-leading security landscape
The team actively embraces and expects AI-as-a-tool fluency, optimizing your workflow around deep problem-solving rather than boilerplate implementation
