Flexifai is a payment provider for iGaming and Forex operators. We connect merchants to card acquiring, local payment methods, and Open Banking across Europe, Africa, and LATAM. Dozens of major merchants process transactions through our platform every day. We have offices in Lisbon, Cyprus, and Ukraine, with a fully distributed team.
We’re looking for a strong BizDev to own our card acquiring, APM, and Open Banking direction across Europe, GCC, and MENA. Your job: make sure our merchants have several working providers on good terms in every country, and that new payment methods launch faster than the competition can manage.
Why join us
Expertise — you’ll work alongside people who launch payment methods and providers across multiple countries every day, dig into conversion data, and negotiate with acquirers. A year here can turn you into the kind of specialist other companies try to poach.
AI-driven — we build our workflow around AI: proprietary tools for analyzing providers, conversion, and market data, plus assistants for routine work and documentation. Less manual work, more time for deals and negotiations.
Compensation — solid base salary plus a bonus system tied directly to providers connected and results in your direction. The more you bring in, the more you earn.
Equipment — laptop and everything you need for a comfortable remote setup.
Travel — SBC, SiGMA, iGB, ICE, and regional industry events, company-covered, meeting partners face to face and building your network.
What you’ll do
Sourcing and onboarding providers:
Find acquirers, PSPs, EMIs, and local payment method providers that work with our verticals across Europe, GCC, and MENA — through your network, conferences, LinkedIn, and partner referrals.
Qualify partners on the first call: license, countries and currencies, methods, operating model, readiness for our traffic type, technical integration.
Request and analyze commercial offers, compare terms against what we already have, and prepare a go/no-go recommendation.
Negotiate rates, reserves, limits, payout terms, and other contract conditions — and push for better terms than the initial offer.
Run the deal through the full cycle: NDA → mutual KYB → contract → handoff to integration → test payments → live traffic.
Managing existing partners:
Maintain relationships with connected providers: regular contact, conversion feedback, resolving disputes.
Expand the partnership: new countries, currencies, methods, higher limits.
Renegotiate terms as volumes grow and keep partners engaged.
Be the first point of contact when something stalls or changes on the partner’s side, and find a fix fast.
Internal work:
Turn requests from Sales and merchants into clear tasks: method, country, volume, deadline.
Collect everything needed for integration from the provider — API docs, test credentials, flow descriptions — and hand business analysts a ready task, not a pile of links.
Work closely with integrations, finance, legal, and compliance so onboarding doesn’t stall at the handoffs.
Keep the provider and terms database up to date.
Give the team a weekly pipeline update: what’s connected, what’s in progress, what’s blocking.
What we’re looking for
2.5+ years of payments experience in BizDev, working with acquirers and PSPs.
Experience with iGaming or Forex — you understand how acquirers view this traffic and how to negotiate with them accordingly.
Your own contact base among acquirers and providers.
Solid grasp of payment methods: how cards, local APMs, and Open Banking work, the difference between H2H and HPP, what 3DS, cascading, and payouts are. Able to brief a business analyst on exactly what needs to be integrated.
Comfortable reading provider API documentation and understanding what’s behind it — requests, callbacks, payment statuses, likely bottlenecks.
Strong negotiation skills on commercial terms, able to close deals.
Self-starter — you get a target, not a step-by-step script.
