We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong track record on complex projects in the insurance and/or fintech space. You will work directly with multiple client-side stakeholders and subject matter experts, turning business needs into clear, actionable specifications, and help shape the product roadmap alongside our delivery team. This role comes with real autonomy: you’ll be the one structuring ambiguity into clarity for a distributed set of stakeholders.
The Project
Our client is a US-based insurance carrier building a modern platform for annuity products. This is a stable, long-term partnership, and the project keeps expanding in scope and complexity — including functionality tied to hedging strategies for annuity products. You’ll work closely with the client’s Product Owner/Tech Lead, SMEs, and other stakeholders, with high autonomy and a direct hand in how the platform evolves.
Please note: this role requires ongoing evening availability, as most calls happen with US-based stakeholders no earlier than 18:00 Kyiv time.
Tech requirements:
Senior-level experience as a Business Analyst on complex projects
Required experience in the insurance and/or fintech domain
Strong stakeholder management and requirements elicitation skills across multiple parallel workstreams
Comfort and availability for ongoing evening hours (US time zone, calls not earlier than 18:00 Kyiv time)
English — Advanced/C1, Ukrainian — fluent
Nice to have:
Domain expertise in annuity products, including hedging
Experience with insurance platform modernization projects
Familiarity with structuring requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for enterprise-scale systems
What you will do:
Elicit and document requirements from multiple client-side stakeholders and subject matter experts
Structure requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with the client and delivery team to build and maintain a high-level product roadmap
Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and manage day-to-day stakeholder communication
Identify dependencies and conflicts across product domains and flag risks early
