Expert needed We're looking for a Senior Android Engineer with proven, hands-on experience building similar healthcare applications. The project is an early-stage healthtech platform building a clinical hearing assessment solution. The role is full-time (~40h/week) or part-time (~20h/week), ~4 months with strong likelihood of extension. We need a hands-on senior comfortable with complex UI state machines, hardware integration, and medical-grade UX flows.
Scope of the engagement: Build a native Android tablet app (Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+, kiosk mode) from scratch in Kotlin/Compose *Implement complex clinical test flows — adaptive algorithm UI (real-time SNR updates), multi-step patient intake, safety triage routing Integrate with Supabase backend via REST — session management, score rendering, audit logging Handle USB-C audio hardware integration (calibrated DAC + headset, AudioTrack API, SPL-level playback) Work with Knox MDM constraints (Samsung Enterprise, single-app kiosk, locked-down device) Collaborate with UI/UX designer on Figma → Compose implementation (design tokens, custom component library) HIPAA-adjacent, targeted at audiology clinics, fundraising demo end of July.
