Job Summary The role focuses on backend development, building and optimizing systems, and integrating AI features to enhance the platform. The position also requires familiarity with DevOps practices to support deployment, monitoring, and scalable operations.
What do you have
At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, with 3–4 years of professional backend development.
Strong backend skills in Ruby and Rails (most important).
Frontend experience with Vanilla JavaScript, Hotwire, StimulusJS, Turbo, TailwindCSS.
Knowledge of data stores: Postgres, Redis; background job processing with Sidekiq; object storage with S3.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Terraform, networking, and security concepts.
DevOps skills: CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance, automated deployments, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), monitoring and logging, and performance optimization for production workloads.
Good English communication skills (B2 level), ready to collaborate effectively in English.
About project The platform helps cities, developers, and urban planners automate and simplify the permit approval process, reducing errors and speeding up approvals with AI.
