We're Growth Channel a friendly team with Ukrainian roots, now based in Austin, Texas. We're building some cool stuff in AI and marketing tech, and we're looking for a Software Engineer (Python) to join our growing team.
What we're looking for:
4+ years of experience working with Python
Solid skills in Django or FastAPI
Strong database skills, schema design, and writing queries that stay fast as data grows
Good general understanding of service-to-service communication — REST, webhooks, queues, retries, and auth between services. A lot of our system is instances talking to each other
Great communication skills — you explain trade-offs clearly, ask questions early, and work well with a distributed team
Bonus points if you:
Have some experience with JavaScript
Know your way around AWS
Have worked with async workers, background jobs, or event-driven systems
Have touched AdTech, MarTech, or analytics-heavy products
What you'll be working on:
Building and improving REST APIs
Working on AI integrations
Designing and maintaining the communication layer between our services
Connecting our app with external tools and services
Helping design and plan new features and system architecture
