We’re seeking a Middle React Developer to help our client from the EU build the next generation of an AI-first SaaS platform.
The role combines hands-on product development for accounting workflows, document-centric processes, and responsible integration of AI capabilities. The developer will work closely with founder and finance specialists, and external technical experts to turn business needs into secure, scalable, and intuitive products for accounting.
Must-Have Experience
Professional experience developing production-grade React applications
Strong command of TypeScript, modern JavaScript, component architecture, and state management
Hands-on experience with Firebase, including authentication
Experience integrating multiple LLMs, MCPs, APIs and third-party services
Experience with document management, including document storage, metadata, permissions, search, versioning, and workflow automation
Delivery and task ownership, strong communication skills to work independently and collaborate with part-time UX, DevOps, QA
English level B2 or higher (spoken)
Required Tech Stack
Front-end (2–3 years of experience): ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, React Final Form, Material UI, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Back-end (1–2 years of experience): Java, Spring Boot (JPA, Data, Web), Maven, and SQL
Database: PostgreSQL and SQL
Other: RESTful APIs, Docker, Git, GitHub Actions.
AI-First Development Mindset
Demonstrated understanding of AI-first product development and how AI skills can be embedded into a reliable delivery engine.
Practical familiarity with LLM APIs, AI-assisted development tools, prompt design, structured outputs, or agent-based workflows
Ability to evaluate AI use cases for accuracy, security, privacy, explainability, and business value
Curiosity about emerging AI technologies and the judgement to distinguish durable capabilities from short-term trends
Role Expectations
Translate finance and document-management requirements into user-friendly React solutions
Previous experience with accounting concepts, finance processes, reporting, controls
Collaborate directly with finance specialists and company founder
Take ownership of requested features from discovery and estimation through delivery and support
