About the project:
This is your opportunity to make a real impact on a large-scale Healthcare product — bridging manual testing expertise and automation to raise the quality bar for features that affect real patients and care providers. Working alongside a strong team of Senior Manual QAs, you will transform deep domain knowledge into reliable automated scenarios that the whole team can trust.
A new team member will be in charge of:
Own the analysis of requirements and user stories during planning to surface logic gaps and edge cases before development begins.
Drive manual testing for newly developed features and system updates, ensuring quality at every release.
Build and maintain robust UI automated tests using C#, Playwright, and NUnit within the established framework architecture.
Ensure the reliability of daily and nightly automation runs by monitoring logs, diagnosing failures, and independently resolving flaky tests.
Does this relate to you?
Commercial experience: 3+ years.
Programming Skills: Solid foundational understanding of C#.
UI Test Automation: Proven commercial experience using Playwright, including expertise in efficient locator strategies, timeout management, browser contexts, and network request interception (equivalent experience with Selenium WebDriver or Cypress is also accepted).
Testing Frameworks: Practical, hands-on experience with NUnit, encompassing test attributes, parameterization, and a clear understanding of the test execution lifecycle.
Manual QA Expertise: Strong command of test design techniques, exploratory testing methodologies, and the ability to create clear, concise test documentation.
Infrastructure & CI/CD: Proficiency in Git (including branching strategies and Pull Requests) coupled with a basic working knowledge of CI/CD processes, such as triggering pipelines and analyzing reports in tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
Product-Oriented Thinking: Capacity to grasp the broader vision of our Healthcare product, understand the “why” behind specific features, and continuously advocate for the best possible user experience.
Proactive Ownership: A self-starter mentality. You take full ownership of your work, actively identify opportunities to enhance QA processes, and consistently propose solutions rather than merely highlighting problems.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Capable of independently debugging code and accurately differentiating between genuine system bugs and automation script failures.
Agile Mindset: Demonstrated experience thriving in iterative development environments and smoothly adapting to shifting requirements.
AI Tool Utilization: Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to expedite test script creation, debugging, and documentation.
English: Upper-Intermediate or above.
Nice to Have:
API Testing & Automation: Background in manual REST API testing (using Postman or Swagger) or API automation (utilizing Playwright’s API Request context, HttpClient, or RestSharp).
