SignalsAPI monitors 290+ sources to detect hiring signals — job postings, funding rounds, company news — and turns them into warm leads for recruitment and staffing agencies. Our customers are agency owners and founders, mostly UK and US.
We're hiring someone to make SignalsAPI a familiar name inside that world on LinkedIn.
The role in one sentence
Spend time every day where recruitment agency owners spend theirs, and become a face they recognise — before anyone ever tries to sell them anything.
What you'll actually do
Map the recruitment-agency world on LinkedIn: who the influential voices are, which posts the niche actually reads, where the arguments happen.
Comment on those posts. Daily. With something worth reading — a real reaction, a question, a counterpoint. Not "Great post!"
Connect with agency owners, staffing founders, and the people around them.
Notice what's landing — which comments get replies, which topics pull people in — and tell us weekly.
What this job is not
We want to be very clear, because this attracts the wrong applicants otherwise:
No pitching. You will never send a sales message.
No sequences, no campaigns, no Expandi / Apollo / Lemlist. Nothing automated.
No meeting quota. Nobody is counting your booked calls, because you won't be booking any.
If your strength is sending 500 messages a week, this will make you miserable and you'll be bad at it. That's a different job at a different company.
You're a fit if
Your written English is genuinely fluent. Everything you write here is public, permanent, and read by the people we sell to. This is the hard requirement.
You've run LinkedIn for a B2B company, or built a following of your own on it.
You have taste. You can read a post and tell the difference between a real insight and a platitude — and you can say why.
You're comfortable spending your first month learning an industry you don't know yet.
Bonus, not required
You've worked in recruiting or staffing — agency-side especially. You'd already speak the language.
Community management background: Discord, Slack, forums, anywhere people actually talk.
You post on LinkedIn yourself and have opinions about what works there.
Probably not a fit if
Your experience is mostly Instagram/TikTok, reels and visual brand content. Different craft, and we'd both find out the hard way.
You've worked in engagement pods or comment automation. The whole point is that this is real.
Practicalities
Fully remote, part-time — around 4 hours a day, but every day. Consistency matters far more than hours here.
Some overlap with UK working hours, since that's when the feed is alive.
Long-term. This role takes 6–8 weeks to start showing results and we know that.

Please don't summarise your CV — we've read it. Tell us instead about one industry, scene or community you came into from the outside, and how you got to the point where people there took you seriously. That's the actual job, so it's the thing we most want to hear about.
