Що робити
- Own the design, deployment, operation and upgrades of our Kafka platform (self-managed and MSK), including Kafka Connect and Schema Registry, Glue, Flink.
- Define topic, partitioning, retention and schema governance standards together with development teams.
- Ocassionally support PostgreSQL operations alongside the team: routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve performance, throughput and reliability issues across Kafka and PostgreSQL.
- Ensure high availability through SLOs, monitoring, alerting (including consumer lag) and regular DR/failover testing.
Що очікуємо
- Strong knowledge of Kafka ecosystem, including setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting, including Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry and ksqldb or Flink.
- Database Administration and Programming experience with PostgreSQL.
