Decide for yourself which business-critical features and edge cases need automated coverage
Own the whole verification system — CI gates, quality dashboard, smoke tests, monitoring — and keep it an honest go/no-go signal for release
Choose where to point a fresh eye, prioritizing by risk before each release
Coach developers on test cases and automation up front, raising the craft bar across the team
Put your QA signature on the DoD: the story’s checks are in place and green
Hard skills: automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar) — design and upkeep · CI/CD ownership (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) · API testing and automation (Postman, REST-assured) · SQL for validation · monitoring/observability (Sentry, Grafana) · defining test strategy and coverage plans
