The next great challenge is coming:
We are looking for an IFRS Accounting Team Lead who will ensure IFRS-compliant accounting operations for Room 8 Group’s legal entities, oversee day-to-day accounting processes, and lead the accounting team.
Superpowers you have:
5+ years of experience in IFRS accounting.
3+ years of experience working in large international groups as a Chief Accountant, IFRS Team Lead, or as an Auditor in a Big Four firm.
2+ years of people management experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting and financial reporting standards.
DipIFR or ACCA qualification is preferred.
Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and highly accurate in work.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Confident user of MS Office Excel.

Work experience with Xero, Microsoft Dynamics 365
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
Manage and supervise the IFRS Accounting Team (4 subordinates)
Conduct accounting under IFRS for complex transactions and intra-group transactions (business acquisitions, consolidations, financial statement disclosures, etc.)
Perform period-end closing procedures
Partner with the Audit & Compliance Manager to ensure IFRS, GAAP and Tax compliance
Supervise the preparation of standalone financial statements for all legal entities within the Group. Submit to external auditors
Prepare the consolidated financial statements of the Group (annually, full package under IFRS). Respond to external auditors’ requests
Leading further improvements and automations of accounting processes
Perform other operational accounting-related tasks
