You’ll get hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle and take ownership of the day-to-day HR work: onboarding and offboarding, employee documentation, HR systems, performance reviews, employee requests, internal communication, and office operations. You don’t need to know everything from day one — what matters most is curiosity, responsibility, empathy, and a strong desire to learn and grow. As you gain experience and demonstrate that you can independently manage processes and people-related challenges, your scope will grow as well — with a clear perspective to move into an HR Manager and HRBP role.
What you’ll do:
HR operations ~60% of the role
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding end-to-end, including documentation, HR systems, access, equipment provision and required follow-ups.
Maintain accurate employee records, track probation periods and key HR dates, and coordinate vacation, sick leave, and other employee processes.
Support employees with day-to-day HR questions and make sure requests and processes are completed on time.
Maintain employee data in PeopleForce and keep HR records accurate and up to date.
Coordinate performance and compensation review cycles, including deadlines, follow-ups, and data collection.
Prepare HR reports, lists, and basic people analytics.
Internal communication & engagement activities ~15% of the role
Prepare and publish social media content about life at Empat, team activities, events, and employee stories.
Coordinate online and offline activities, events, celebrations, and engagement initiatives.
Prepare and send HR-related internal communications.
HR projects & initiatives ~15% of the role
Support employee surveys, engagement initiatives, internal events, and other People projects.
Take ownership of smaller HR projects and look for ways to make HR processes more efficient.
Basic office management ~10% of the role
Support the day-to-day office operations, including supplies, deliveries, administrative requests, and keeping the office organized.
Coordinate with building management, suppliers, and service providers when needed.
Support office logistics for new employees and events, and track basic office expenses.
What we’re looking for:
1+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, Administration, or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time.
Good communication skills and a comfortable, human approach to employees.
Proactive mindset — you don’t wait for someone to tell you about every next step.
Ability to work with HR systems, spreadsheets, documents, and internal tools.
Interest in social media and creating simple, engaging content.
Intermediate+ English.
Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and gradually work more independently.
Comfortable working in the office 1–2 days per week.
What We Offer:
Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives tied to your individual impact and business outcomes;
Real ownership — you’ll drive initiatives end-to-end, make independent decisions, and be accountable for results in your domain;
Influence that goes beyond your role — contribute to strategic initiatives, cross-functional planning, and how we grow as a company;
Mentorship and knowledge sharing — both ways: you’ll learn from experienced colleagues and have room to share your expertise;
Modern tools, structured development programs, workshops;
English courses tailored for business communication;
Clear career path with transparent promotion criteria;
A culture built on empathy, trust, and openness — where initiative is encouraged, feedback is honest, and people actually care about each other;
Hybrid work model with an office in central Kyiv;
Medical insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, team events and corporate presents.
