Real Estate Bees is a U.S. real estate lead marketplace, running since 2017. We generate motivated-seller leads through SEO, PPC, YouTube and social, and connect homeowners with investors across the country. SEO runs across a portfolio of 100+ websites and is one of our largest acquisition channels. We want a Head of SEO to own that portfolio and scale it.
Why this role exists
Organic is a core growth engine, but it’s running below its ceiling. We want someone who can look at 100+ domains and know which to push, which to consolidate, and where the next block of revenue is hiding. We want a Head of SEO who can look across 100+ domains, identify where to invest, and drive measurable revenue growth — not just traffic.
What you’ll do:
SEO performance and growth across the full domain portfolio
Strategy across content, technical SEO, authority building and AI-search visibility
Day-to-day direction of the SEO team, freelancers and external vendors
Budget allocation and prioritization by business impact
Forecasting and reporting that connects SEO activity to revenue outcomes
What the First 90 Days Look Like:
You’ll spend the first weeks getting deep into the portfolio — understanding what’s working, what’s stalled, and where the biggest leverage points are. From there you’ll be expected to:
Influence department performance with early, data-backed decisions
Build a working relationship with the team and establish a clear operating rhythm
Present your strategic priorities to the Head of Growth and Head of Strategy with evidence behind each call
What we are looking for:
Technical SEO — you’ve ranked competitive keywords in the top 1–3, not just moved them from page 3 to page 2. You understand what actually drives rankings at scale.
Team & Budget Leadership — you’ve managed SEO teams and held a budget. You know how to prioritize spend, direct freelancers and vendors, and get results through other people.
Analytics — you’re comfortable in Search Console, can build a basic forecast, and know how to tie organic traffic to revenue. Data is how you make decisions, not how you explain them after the fact.
Domain Portfolio Management — you’ve worked across multiple sites and know when to consolidate, when to double down, and how to prioritize across a large footprint.
Communication & Advocacy — you can walk a non-SEO stakeholder through your strategy and defend your priorities with numbers. You don’t need consensus to move, but you can earn it.

This is a high-autonomy role. You’ll set your own priorities, manage your own time, and be evaluated entirely on outcomes. The team and budget are there to support you — but the strategy and accountability are yours.
