We're a small, fast-moving team at an early stage, focused on building trust in a category where most products either oversimplify or overwhelm.
The role
We're hiring our first Head of Marketing: a generalist who will own marketing strategy and execution end-to-end, working directly with the founding team. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a large department; it's for someone who wants to build the engine themselves, get their hands dirty, and make sharp calls about where organic growth can actually come from in a category where paid advertising is restricted on most major networks.
You'll be the primary owner of acquisition, content, community, and creator/affiliate channels, and you'll work closely with product on onboarding, activation, and the shareable moments that turn users into distribution.
What you'll own
Acquisition & Organic Growth
SEO, GEO, and AEO (answer-engine optimization) strategy — including how Coinask is represented inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini
Programmatic pages built from our own live data (supported exchanges, token universe, news sources) — working tools, not templated articles
SEO/GEO audits and keyword strategy
Community & Creators
Run an affiliate program with real, published economics
Develop an influencer strategy weighted toward credible, sceptical-audience reviewers rather than pure reach
Own our presence on Reddit, Telegram, Instagram and X as a labelled company voice — answering, not pitching
Grow community ecosystem and newsletter programs
Content
Curate the own hybrid (human 🤝 AI) content engine serving for all marketing directions
Founder-driven and educational content (including a Coinask Academy track)
Curate and edit product-generated insights into a public, indexable answers surface
Brand & Trust
Shape a security and trust narrative that a technical reviewer can actually verify
Take clear, defensible public positions on topics we have real opinions on (e.g. safety architecture of non-custodial AI agents)
Maintain tone of voice and brand foundations across channels
Cross-functional
Partner with product on onboarding, activation, and shareable in-product moments
Track and report on channel performance and organic share of growth
What we're looking for
A proven generalist track record spanning content, growth, social, and affiliate/community work — not narrow specialization
Experience owning marketing strategy and execution end-to-end in a small team or startup environment
Solid understanding of crypto, DeFi, exchanges, wallets, and on/off-ramps, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply to a non-expert audience
100% AI-native person (don’t invent a wheel and live like you’re in 2040)
Strong writing and storytelling ability in English
Hands-on comfort with SEO/GEO/AEO tools, content distribution and channel-level metrics
Experience building or scaling an affiliate or creator program with real unit economics
Nice to have: experience marketing in a category with restricted paid access (crypto, gambling, adult) and knowledge of how to build reach without it

We're staying deliberately lean rather than building out a full marketing department. As we grow, we expect to organize around focused growth pods (acquisition, community & creators, product growth) rather than a traditional brand/demand-gen/PMM stack — you'll help shape that structure as we scale.
