👤 Our criteria:
6+ years in business/system analysis, including 2+ years leading analysts or an analysis function;
proven experience building or substantially rebuilding an analysis function and its processes — not just working inside an established one;
strong system analysis background: API and third-party integration specs, data flows, event contracts; comfortable in technical design discussions with architects and engineers;
equally comfortable on the business side: turning commercial goals into scoped, prioritized, testable requirements, and pushing back when the ask and the goal diverge;
experience running requirements processes across multiple parallel teams;
fluent with Jira and Confluence as process tools, not just trackers.
⚙️ Your Tasks:
Build the function from the ground up: design the target operating model for the analysis function: intake, discovery, requirements elaboration, hand-off to delivery teams, and acceptance — with clear roles and responsibilities on both the business and the tech side;
Define how business and tech interact: a single front door for business initiatives, a shared language of artifacts (BRD/PRD, user stories, API and integration specs, data contracts), agreed SLAs, and an escalation path when priorities collide;
Lead and grow the team: grow the existing team of two analysts, hire as the function scales, set quality standards, review artifacts, and develop people;
Stay hands-on where it matters: personally drive analysis on flagship initiatives — market launches, payment provider (PSP) integrations, platform evolution — where the cost of a missed requirement is highest;
Own documentation standards: bring structure to how requirements and system knowledge live in Confluence and Jira, so decisions and specs are discoverable rather than tribal;
Make quality measurable: define how we know the function works — requirements stability, rework rate, discovery lead time — and report on it alongside the delivery metrics the organization already tracks.
