WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Our client is a B2B SaaS platform in the LinkedIn advertising and buyer-intent intelligence space — a funded, growth-stage product with a strong self-serve motion (trial-to-paid converts at ~38%) and no shortage of ideas. What’s missing is execution: work gets decided but stalls, and gaps in the funnel sit open because no one owns moving them. This role removes that bottleneck — you build the funnels that turn marketing spend into customers, and you keep everything moving.
Our client is private-equity backed with a clear mandate: scale from ~30 to ~500 new users per month. Your job is to move at the maximum speed you can sustain, and they’ll back what proves itself.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
— Build quality marketing funnels that convert — partly with your own hands, partly through contractors and the team.
— Go deep yourself in one channel you’re genuinely strong in, owning real output there rather than only coordinating it.
— Drive scoped initiatives to finished results across contractors, the team, and the website — briefing clearly, holding deadlines, reviewing quality, replacing underperformers early.
— Run the funnel like it’s yours: actively find what’s broken or stalled and move to close it, without waiting to be told.
WHAT YOU WILL NOT OWN
— Overall marketing strategy and positioning — those stay with the leadership team. You work within the agreed direction, but you’re expected to find and close execution gaps inside it on your own initiative.
— Deep execution in channels outside your specialty — handled by specialist experts you coordinate.
YOU’RE A FIT IF YOU
— Have 3–5 years in growth marketing or hands-on marketing, with proven depth in at least one channel — something you personally moved the numbers on. Depth in search/SEO, paid, or content is a strong bonus.
— Have built funnels for B2B SaaS products specifically — where users sign up, try, and convert on their own, without a sales team carrying the deal. If your background is mainly enterprise or high-ticket sales-led marketing, this probably isn’t the right fit.
— Use AI practically in your actual workflow — not just for research or writing, but to automate reporting, connect tools, build things faster. You have a current, non-generic view of where AI search and content discovery is headed and what that means for B2B SaaS marketing right now.
— Manage your own priorities and time well in a fast, parallel environment — many things running at once, no one managing your day for you.
— Are obsessive about detail and genuinely bothered by an open gap — you audit, notice, and act.
— Have managed contractors and specialists before, and come with your own network you can plug in — not starting from zero.
— Write clearly in English (C1/B2).
LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
— Fully remote, but with real in-person presence in Lviv required
— Lviv or Western Ukraine preferred; Kyiv works if you’re genuinely comfortable with frequent travel (up to several times a month)
— Trips aren’t occasional check-ins — they’re working sessions: strategy workshops, in-person syncs with the founder and team
— Other locations (Kharkiv, Odesa, etc.) aren’t a practical fit logistically
THIS PROBABLY ISN’T A FIT IF YOU
— Come mainly from enterprise or high-ticket sales-led marketing, where a sales team owns the deal and marketing feeds it.
— Use AI primarily for writing and research and haven’t built anything with it.
— Need a structured environment and clear priorities handed to you — the systems here are largely unbuilt, and that’s part of what you’d own.
— Have a solid track record in one tactic but haven’t thought much about how the broader B2B SaaS marketing landscape has shifted.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (FIRST 90 DAYS)
— Execution gap near zero — assigned work finishes without follow-up, and the leadership team is out of day-to-day coordination.
— Your own channel showing first moved metrics.
— At least one funnel gap you found and closed yourself.
